Proper network device configuration and installation ensures a successful deployment of your wireless network. Cumulus can verify the operational state of your installed wireless network and that the RF propagation pattern of each installed access point conforms with the coverage areas defined during the site survey process.
Network Device Configuration Information produced in the design phase along with details gathered during the site survey process are used to configure the individual network infrastructure devices prior to deployment. This process can be performed by our staff onsite immediately before deployment or at our facility, where it can be configured, tested, and staged for deployment prior to being shipped to the installation site.
Hardware Installation Errors at this stage of implementation are costly, and directly affect network performance. Our experienced team has installed wireless networks in virtually every environment. Their attention to detail ensures that the network is installed and documented in a thorough, professional, and safe manner, as specified in the site survey report.
Post-Installation RF Site Survey To verify the operational state of an installed wireless network, the RF propagation pattern of each installed access point is again documented. This data is compared to the expected propagation documented in the RF Site Survey Report. Deviations are documented, and if necessary, corrected. The Post-Installation Site Survey Report and accompanying Interactive report are excellent tools in the ongoing support phase of the installed wireless network.
